Every second can count when an emergency vehicle is trying to locate your house.

The Sunshine Coast is made of up of several rural communities. First responders, Ambulance, Police and Fire Fighters, often have a difficult time finding homes in our communities because of the natural setting in which we choose to reside. The Sunshine Coast Rotary is selling high-visibility house number signs to help make it easier for first responders to locate homes on the Coast. The sign is blue, with white reflective house numbers with the Rotary logo. They are fade-resistant and are available in either horizontal or vertical orientation. The horizontal sign has reflective house numbers on only one side. The vertical sign has reflective house numbers on both sides.

The signs can be placed at the end of your driveway or on your house if it is visible from the road. If you place it on the end of your driveway, it is best to locate it at least one foot into your property from the road and mount it at a minimum of two feet off the ground and away from any foliage or potential snow build-up. It should be visible so that the headlights of a vehicle will capture the reflective numbers on the sign.

1. When your sign arrives on the Coast, we will call you to arrange delivery.

2. Payment can be made upon delivery by Cash, Cheque or E-Transfer.

3. If you live off the Lower Sunshine Coast, we will gladly mail your house number sign for and extra $20 to cover postage and handling.
